In Zakynthos, there are many way to travel to your destination. Here are some of the outstanding transportation methods:
Buses- The buses in Zakynthos are a great and inexpensive way of transportation. The prices start at 1,60 Euros. They also have AC for the comfort of their guest.
Planes- Zakynthos has its own airport called, "Zakynthos International Airport". You can fly into the airport from Athens, London, Manchester, etc. A fun fact about this airport, is that planes cannot fly in or out of the airport between the hours of 12am-4am. This is because the Loggerhead turtles normally lay their eggs around this time and they want to protect them.
Boats- You can ride boats and ferries to get to your destinations. You must travel by boat to get to the Blue Caves and Navagio Beach. The prices for some ferry rides start at 8,00 euros for an adult and 4,00 euros for children. There is a port in Zante (Zakynthos), that runs to Killini.
Cars- The roads in Zakynthos are another great way of transportation. You can rent a car in Zakynthos or you can send over your own. You can also get around on the roads by taxi's.
Shipping Ports- There is a shipping port in Zante that just had a container ship sent to Istanbul. 10/2/14
